An unusual tree grew on the temple grounds near Lijiang, its branches and branches intertwining with each other. The authorities decided to cut down the tree in the 1960s, as every faith and cult was known to be dangerous to the authorities. This man did not agree to this and thanks to him the tree survives to this day. It's a pity that there wasn't a whole army of such people, maybe more temples, monuments, books would have been preserved...
