Fotochiny.com has existed for 20 years, with the first entries and photos published in 2006!
China XXI is a unique website. Thanks to the extensive photo gallery you can learn more about China in the 21st century. See what the Middle Kingdom really looks like from the inside.
The photos are organized into several categories. Choose what interests you most. Together with my Chinese wife, we are the authors of all photographs published here. We present only a small part of our photos; the complete collection contains around 25,000 digital files, scans and prints.
In the extensive gallery you can see both the highest skyscrapers and simple rural houses, learn about the lives of poor and wealthy people, see photos from different regions of China, admire beautiful models, and discover Chinese nature. Detailed descriptions under each photo will also expand your knowledge about China.
I know that text alone often makes things unclear, sometimes inaccurate or difficult to believe. I experienced this while managing another website about China, which is why I now focus on images and visual storytelling.
My seven-year stay in China resulted in many photographs that I am happy to share with people who want to better understand Chinese culture, see everyday life in Asia, plan a journey to this part of the world, or simply love photography. I also invite everyone to comment and discuss individual photos.
New photos will appear in the gallery every few weeks, all with descriptions. By visiting the China XXI website regularly, you will discover new curiosities, facts and information about this part of the world.

Photos from China
Nowadays video content has become more popular: TikTok, YouTube, various China curiosities, places (unfortunately often crowded with tourists), funny situations, and above all modern technologies and electric cars. All of this can be followed on different channels by different creators, increasingly also from Poland.
Fotochiny.com - as the domain name suggests, will remain faithful to the photo gallery. We will continue presenting photos from China, from different parts of the country, including cities and towns that are still not very popular among foreign tourists.
In 2026 we are launching a version of the website adapted for tablets and smartphones. A little late, but better now than never. We hope this will increase the number of our fans. Welcome to the gallery!
