The period before the Chinese New Year is always colorful, with various stalls in the cities, thousands of decorations, decorations on the streets and squares, and red lanterns. When I was in Shanghai for the first time in 2003, it was also after the New Year and I remember that Cheng Huang Miao was beautifully decorated.
