Hong Kong - life in the tunnels

© Bartłomiej Magierowski
I have already mentioned such 'underground cities' before. Hong Kong is a typical example of this. Here, huge areas of the city are connected to each other by a network of underground passages, above-ground passages and connections inside buildings/skyscrapers. Here, an important tunnel connecting East Tsim Sha Tsui and Tsim Sha Tsui stations, in a sense, connects China and Hong Kong. This includes the KCR border railway and the MTR city metro. By the way: on the left in the photo there is a pretty and elegant girl!
