Are Chinese women good housewives? There is no clear answer to this. Many girls in big cities simply devote themselves to work, careers and businesses. They often hire domestic help or bring their parents/in-laws from the countryside, who help them by taking care of the children and cooking for the whole family. It happens that some Chinese women start cooking only after the wedding to please their husband. Many women avoid the kitchen, so the whole family visits restaurants, and there are many of them in China and they are relatively cheap.
