In Poland, we associate housing estates with 10-story slab blocks from the 1980s. In Chinese cities, a little later, in the 1990s and at the beginning of the 21st century, residential skyscrapers were built that had to accommodate millions of inhabitants. Most often, they had 20-40 floors, sometimes there were 10-12 apartments on one floor. Of course, living in an anthill has its disadvantages. First of all, there is the noise, the smell of cooking dinner (hardly anyone used the hoods), and the worst is always the noise of air conditioning units, which are usually installed next to balconies, windows, or on the building's facade.
