The media is already scaring about a new virus in China. Reuters posted a photo of a girl in Beijing with a face mask. It is worth adding that people in China and Hong Kong wear such masks every day so as not to infect others, e.g. during the flu. I also have such a photo - a man in Hong Kong wearing a mask! I remember when I landed in Hong Kong in July 2003. SARS was rampant then. The airport was empty, Lufthansa gave me a seat in business class because almost no one was flying to Hong Kong. The economy of this city-state suffered greatly at that time. Nothing extraordinary happened, I didn't know anyone who had SARS. Yes, there were victims - just like now, but mainly among the elderly and weaker people. It's similar with the flu.
