Some people are probably wondering what a typical apartment in China looks like? Does it perhaps have some traditional bas-reliefs on the walls, or does it resemble a Japanese tatami? Or maybe since the Chinese believe that red repels evil spirits, maybe the walls are painted red? Well, no, the interiors of the apartments resemble European ones. White walls predominate, typical furniture - a sofa, TV cabinet, table and chairs in the dining room. Sometimes some simple decorations, paintings. It's different with refrigerators and washing machines. In warm areas, e.g. Shenzhen/Guangzhou, washing machines are often located on balconies.
