Even if I were to live in a new block of flats, would I want to admire old, shabby tenement houses? This is how Guangzhou is changing, new skyscrapers are being built, but sometimes the area is terrible and neglected. They should probably renovate these tenement houses? In another photo you can see how nice the renovated building from colonial times looks. These are the contrasts in Guangzhou.
