Pedestrian crossing guard

Pedestrian crossing guard - photos from China

© Bartłomiej Magierowski

It's quite strange, but in China most people walk like blind people, green or red, they push each other, even on bicycles or with some kind of strollers. At strategic city intersections, you can meet guards who wave flags and whistle to prevent anyone from crossing a zebra at a red light. In worse cases, they even use barriers made of ropes and cones.
