Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. The town is interestingly divided. The newer high-rise buildings are surrounded by small country cottages separated by a canal. They probably wouldn't exist today, but the village (or rather one of its streets) is on the UNESCO list. I know it's crooked, but I only had an open window in the hotel window, I couldn't even look into the viewfinder of the camera.
