Do you remember this Buddha? In one of the Van Damme films, he flew into the air. They lied, as usual in China. I was there a year ago, he still stands there and greets tourists with his hand. It's called Polin, to visit it you need to devote a whole day to it (around the airport), Lantou island, I recommend it. Imagine that some people go up the mountain on their knees. I barely climbed up there, and on my knees... I think I would have converted to Christianity if I had been a follower of Buddhism rather than going in there like that.
