It's hard to get shots like this in Shenzhen, but Guangzhou is an older city. The area around Beijing Lu, there is a promenade of shops and department stores. But just 500 meters away the landscape changes completely. Old buildings, neglected streets. People living as if in the previous decade, unhurried, busy with trifles, retirees playing cards... I like taking photos there, but I don't think I would like to live there.
