South China Sea, 6 a.m., a great feeling, we were surrounded by water on all sides, no land, just this one ship on the horizon. An hour later the weather had deteriorated significantly, visibility had dropped and the sky had become uniformly grey. The cruise from Guangzhou to Haikou (Hainan Island) took us 17 hours (planned 14), and the big ship almost sailed away without us!
