Looking south

The previously promised view from the tallest skyscraper in Shenzhen. This time towards the south. The visible river (very smelly, by the way) is also the border line between China and Hong Kong. A little further there are hills, on some slopes and on the tops there are several border guard posts and barbed wire. Behind these hills, the center of Hong Kong is very close. Before the bridge visible in the distance (hidden by buildings), there is one of the busiest border crossings. I always wonder if these mountains were so bald, if they cut down the trees so they could see smugglers and fugitives?

Za rzeką graniczną Sham Chun znajdują się piękne bagna Mai Po, rezerwat ptaków i jedno z ważniejszych miejsc postojowych na przelotach. Na bagnach królują namorzyny... Rozbudowa Shenzenu może w końcu doprowadzić do zniszczenia tej perełki

Tutaj wrzuciłbym na obiektyw filtr polaryzacyjny, bo wylazły niepotrzebne moim zdaniem odbicia na szybie. A jeśli chodzi o łyse góry - tam przecież masz te drzewa :)
