New Year's Eve in Hong Kong

New Year's Eve in Hong Kong - photos from China

On New Year's Eve in 2005/2006, I was in Hong Kong. At 8 p.m. there was a "symphony of lights" show + fireworks. I admit that in 2004 it was much better. Imagine all the buildings on the bay pulsating with lights, hundreds of halogen lights, and fireworks from ships on the bay? Amazing view. In 2004 it was great, now it's a bit worse, but it doesn't change the fact that several tens of thousands of people (maybe more) still come there. Even the main streets in Kowloon were closed so that people could return in the evening. It was amazing, thousands of people walking on the streets, no cars and a unique atmosphere.
