Life and Travel in China

The previous entry reminds me of another statement... a friend of mine who is doing very well is the head of the office of a pharmaceutical company. He has a wife, they recently had a child, he has already bought an apartment in a quite friendly environment for China, and he already has a private car (as if his company car was bothering him). Well, recently at dinner he said what can the Chinese do? Nothing! They won't stand against the army, they don't have weapons or tanks. They can only agree with the authorities and accept everything, as he put it, they must adapt to Chinese conditions! It immediately reminded me of Tian An Men. This friend said that since there is one communist party in China, nothing will change. We do not entirely share his opinion, because in this way the 40 million mafia under the banner of the communist party exploits one billion people. These people will always be docile, obedient, they have no rights or privileges, only obligations to their homeland. Of course, a huge group of people who are prosperous do not care at all about changes in China, about justice, human rights, equality and the rule of law. These are foreign concepts to them, what matters is that they earn money in a legal or illegal way. As you can see, there is a large group of people who do not need and do not want changes, and they certainly will not go to the barricades to fight for changes in the Middle Kingdom.

We constantly hear about China's development and great economic power. The truth is that the Middle Kingdom is a big dragon on wooden legs. It is not a developing or superpower country at all. Most statistics and data are false! The government manipulates numbers and influences foreign opinions about China. If China were such a great power, there would be no beggars on the streets, all Chinese would have equal and unlimited access to education and health care, the country's development would be equal, uniform and would apply to all social groups and classes, there would be a pension and insurance system, and social assistance. Currently, no worker or farmer has the right to vote, they have no right to establish any organizations or unions, and no one cares about their interests or rights. The communist party controls every aspect of life! The middle class is closely dependent on the government and it is naive to assume that rich Chinese will lead to democracy. There are still many companies that make losses, but these losses are covered by money from banks, the banks are state-owned, so the party decides on the flow of funds. Many companies operate on loans, which they often do not have to repay. The differences will be covered from state money, the same money is used for travel, lunches and dinners, entertainment, bars, massages, prostitutes... Many state-owned companies do not have to worry about a negative balance at all. All data is false and some is even hidden. Of course, the number of rich people increases, but they are usually directly or indirectly linked to the party. The functioning of this country is still based on the exploitation of a billion people by several million. The whole success lies in using this army of people, manipulating them, presenting every mistake to them as a success of the party, so that such people never expect much, but give a lot of themselves through hard work, so that they simply allow themselves to be exploited. So far, it's all working quite smoothly thanks to propaganda and censorship. And this is how a supposedly big economy is created.

Since this year, national mourning has become very popular in China. Sometimes I have the impression that they saw this in Poland after the death of John Paul II, after the crash of the government plane... today is a day of mourning in the Middle Kingdom. Most websites are in black and white, many entertainment channels have been suspended on television, there are no films on demand, and television shows people's drama. Mourning is a marketing tool of the communist government. It perfectly unites the nation, you can easily brainwash them, manipulate the masses, and divert attention from other problems. You can't blame the government for natural disasters?! However, this tragedy can be used for marketing and propaganda. See: the government sympathizes, the government cares about ordinary citizens, the government helps you, supports you, the government sends troops and equipment to help everyone. Everything must be filmed and constantly shown on TV. The average Chinese citizen buys these cartoons very quickly. He trusts the authorities, believes in their help and 'good heart'. Interestingly, a few years earlier they never counted the victims and didn't care about anything. Now they see how powerful national mourning is. It's a pity that they treat the victims as tools for their propaganda show!

Yesterday I saw again how much the Chinese government loves its citizens. I was riding a bicycle on the main route in Shenzhen. After a while, I saw that there were several policemen standing at every intersection, I guessed that there would be a government column or VIP vehicles. Two dressed-up policemen on motorcycles entered the route. One of them approached me after two kilometers and told me to get off the road through a loudspeaker. I didn't really listen to him and he drove away. Two intersections later, it was thick with police and I stopped. Some in uniforms, others in plain clothes, undercover. Two uniformed officers told me to move literally 20 cm, from the side of the road closer to the sidewalk. Ok, after a while I moved on. Two minutes later they changed their concept and told everyone to move even further away. The cop pats me on the back and says, "Solli, solli." So I moved even further and prepared to greet a convoy of communist hogs. When police motorcycles, Mitsubishi off-road vehicles, and buses with VIPs arrived, I started waving at them for fun. First, normally, with an open hand, and then with the middle finger. The cops probably didn't understand it, but one undercover cop came up anyway and covered me and showed me not to wave at them. And I was shouting and waving "welcome in Shenzhen". I had a lot of fun with it and that's how I joined the opposition. I hate those fat communist pigs! I hate all this exploitation and injustice, I'm fed up with this propaganda and censorship. And what irritates me even more is when the police stop me while driving nicely, I had a nice tailwind, I was driving 40-45 km/h. If the authorities say that the Chinese love them so much, why don't they let them come closer, throw flowers, wave and greet everyone? The truth is that this government only serves to intimidate and control these people. As soon as the column disappeared, all the policemen literally vanished into thin air. I saw almost no uniformed officers later on this route. As you can see, they have considerable reserves for protecting VIPs, breaking up riots and securing mass events.

Referring to the previous entry... it turned out that I showed the middle finger to not just anyone, but to the vice prime minister himself - Wen Jia Bao. As it turned out, on Saturday there was a larger party in the square in front of the City Hall, with police and Chinese ORMO members everywhere. They stopped me again while I was riding a bike, this time they weren't sure whether they should stop me, but I gave up on this route myself, why should I go to the nest of these communist pigs?! The Vice Prime Minister even visited our housing estate. Of course we knew nothing about it. He met with retired women, because, as you know, such old ladies love power and will not complain about anything. They even put on a show for him - dancing with discus. I saw it on TV and it was literally three intersections behind our apartment. After this beautiful show, older ladies ran so nicely and waved to the Prime Minister. Such pathetic propaganda, I just laugh at it, but they believe in it so much, they feel so honored, such an honor! The vice prime minister himself watched the paddle dance, wonderful! Shenzhen celebrates the 30th anniversary of the city's founding on Friday, I can already imagine how many police, checks, blockades there will be everywhere... they have already introduced baggage scanning at one of the more crowded metro stations, just like at the airport. Of course, it's good that they're safe, but they don't protect ordinary citizens, it's more about ensuring that no one transports weapons or cargo on the subway, and they would be intended for some kind of assassination attempt on politicians. Their power never cares about ordinary citizens, but great propaganda makes the nation think otherwise.
