Life and Travel in China

Coming back to the city of Ningbo, there are nicer and uglier places. My hotel wasn't exactly in the center, about 5 minutes by car. Today I visited an open-air museum, the city center and the modern part. If someone tells me that only Shenzhen is rich and developing, I will gladly take him there. Ningbo is also developing strongly. Entire new districts, a large university town, office buildings and quite decent residential houses, but after crossing the bridge we are greeted again by old and neglected tenement houses.

I'm just looking at the statistics, I'm a bit worried about the number of visits, because there will be no transfer this month, 40% has already been used. As a curiosity, who comes to my website and what they were looking for: 'naked Chinese women', 'photos of Asian women', 'Chinese models', 'Chinese dogs', 'young Chinese women', 'photos of prostitutes', and someone went a step further 'group sex' and 'Chinese sex'. Wow... if it continues like this, I think I have to change the nature of this website, people expect Asian pornography :-))). I can already imagine how many have been disappointed so far.

In Poland, the elections are to last two days... or maybe three, or three... a week, a month, a year, or even two years, better four at once, we will elect them throughout the entire term. There are no such problems in China, when there are elections there are only local, local government ones (maybe something like the election of a mayor). The rest, i.e. the president and the parliament, elect themselves and that's cool! In Poland, they should also choose themselves, because the citizens don't want to. We are simply not suitable for democracy, let them rule and elect themselves. Let's give Polish politicians a bit of happiness!

Today I experienced a strong price shock in a lingerie store. Imagine an ordinary bra from an American or French brand (99% made in China), price 1,180 RMB, about PLN 500. The cost of producing such a bra is maybe PLN 40-50, what is the profit? Tenfold!!! And the funniest thing is that such a store does not go bankrupt and has some customers. I know that there are also expensive, luxury stores in Poland, but in China? After all, it is here that it is the cheapest in the middle of nowhere, everything for a bowl of rice. Well, as I mentioned earlier, I prefer to make purchases such as clothes in Poland, cheaper and of better quality.

Today I was in a bookstore, I found an album with a strong title "Guide to the World", three parts: North America, Europe and the Middle East. Well, the world has obviously shrunk. But there is Europe, I'm looking through it, there's a map on the cover, with Poland in the middle. I check the countries inside the album (such as a guide, photos, descriptions of monuments): Russia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Czech Republic, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy... There is no Poland! Maybe Poland is no longer in Europe? And how is this poor Chinese supposed to know what Poland is and what is there anyway? Poland was left out along with Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Romania... and other smaller countries. I ask who is responsible for this? Why doesn't anyone promote our homeland? And the Chinese are getting richer and richer, they fly to Europe for trips, but to Europe, that is, not to Poland, because in their book Poland is not in Europe!!!
