Let me remind you that in the Chinese first football league, in the Shenzhen Jianlibao team, a Pole plays. I just watched their next match and I must admit that they are not doing well. They were losing 1-0. I'm not that interested in it, but when I watch a broadcast of their matches, they usually don't do very well. And Mr. Marek Zając is called MaLeKu by Chinese commentators.

DID YOU KNOW THAT... prices of original software are much lower in China than in Poland. Today I looked at programs such as AutoCad, Macromedia Flash, Photoshop, etc., all at prices around RMB 30-50 (PLN 12-20). Original boxes, complete package, manual, book, for example up to 5 CD-ROMs. Certainly original, because it is a large and new bookstore, which, at the opening, organized a meeting with authors also devoted to copyright protection.

Yesterday I heard on Polish Radio that the police will pay extra for excessively used fuel. Today I read that they are afraid of losing their pensions and being held accountable for their past service in the times of the Polish People's Republic. No one rushes to the police, on the contrary, everyone runs away. And here... in China, the police have all the powers and privileges. They drive cars and motorcycles as much as they want, even with their entire families, and apart from the apartment, they are also well rewarded financially. Of course, there are abuses of power, but at the same time criminals cannot feel unpunished when confronted with the police. In Poland, you can laugh at a cop, spit in his face and finally take him to court. How can there be safety in our homeland if policemen are not even paid decently and the authorities will hold them accountable for their past?

The area of ​​Poland is only 1.8 times larger than the Guangdong province where I live. China is truly an unimaginably huge country.

I had the opportunity to spend 2 days at a leisurely pace in Shanghai. I usually just have some meetings there or I'm at the airport. During these 2 days I took 575 photos, the most interesting ones will of course be presented on this website. In addition, about 70 photos from Ningbo. I even took a tripod, so there will be no shortage of night views. I must admit that Shanghai is a specific city. Many foreigners, I even came across a conference devoted to Africa. People are more communicative, in one day I was approached by 6 different girls (not from the massage parlor), but Chinese girls who were also visiting Shanghai as tourists. And what beautiful old buildings, traditional architecture, an amazing atomsphere that cannot be found anywhere in Shenzhen. I even came across a commercial film set in a small park outside the city center. I visited the tallest skyscraper in China (420.5 meters, 88 floors) - the tallest in the world is in Taiwan, but I already have photos from Shanghai of a skyscraper under construction, which will be number one.
