Life and Travel in China

I just added new night photos and I can already see that someone is looking at them. Cool! The website is popular and soon the number of photos viewed will reach 200,000. I am glad that the number of visitors to the gallery is increasing. I'm going to pick up the photos from Pentax soon. The photos are of good quality, on Fuji paper, and are printed by a photo studio for PLN 0.27. So, shooting with a traditional camera still pays off in the middle of nowhere. However, I am afraid that I will not take many photos with Zenit TTL. Humidity of 80%-90% made the viewfinder dirty, dampness appeared, as if there were some cracks. It's a pity, because I have sentimental feelings for this camera.

Now let me debunk the myth about China! Based on the questions I am asked by Poles visiting the country for the first time, I already know what stereotypes about China are circulating in Poland. Well... there is no such thing as Chinese spices! Yes, there are some important spices, but don't exaggerate, they mainly use soy sauce and black vinegar on a daily basis. There are no typical spice shops. In a hypermarket, spices constitute half the shelf. I always buy spices in Poland because they are different and I have 10 times more choice. Here I most often see five spices (the stereotypical one... in five flavors), barbecue seasoning, cumin powder, salty chicken seasoning. Apart from that, sometimes there are some herbs and roots, but you need to know them. Generally, there isn't much of it, so it's kind of a myth.

Recently, a Pole stated in China that the system works very well here. Everyone has a job and therefore has a job. Workers carry stones in carriers on construction sites, cleaners walk the streets and squares, in pharmacies there are staff at every shelf, and every building has security guards. This nation has work, produces, invents, creates, builds, cleans, cleans, washes, renovates, constructs, repairs, and maintains order. There is simply no shortage of work for anyone, because when a person has nothing to do, he sits and invents. He doesn't like the government, he could go on strike, maybe they could give him a raise, maybe he could get fired from his job?! People are bored and have stupid ideas and are not productive.

I'm not really excited about the Euro championships in Poland. The news seems funny to me: stadiums, a second metro line, highways, hotels, new railway lines. After all, every European country (not to mention China) has such infrastructure on a daily basis. It's nice that something will change in Poland, but it should change under normal conditions, not only during special events. And soon it will turn out that they will employ Chinese workers to build the stadiums to make it cheaper and faster.

I have known for some time that there is a shortage of pilots in China, and they already employ pilots from abroad, and they also tried with Poles at Shenzhen Airlines. It turns out that they have to employ 12,000 pilots within 6 years. I'm just worried that due to the lack of employees, they will start hiring anyone they can. Including some untrained pilots, foreigners, retirees who, instead of safe piloting, will only think about stunts and fun. In fact, I found out about it myself when landing with a white pilot in Shenzhen. In perfect weather conditions, he hit the plane so hard on the runway that the wings bent during this strange and sudden landing.
